How do I get to the island?

Every trip departs by boat from one of Hurghada’s marinas; the exact departure point is on each tour’s page. Hotel pickup terms vary by tour, included on some, optional or extra-fee on others. Pick a tour on the Experiences page and pickup is arranged based on what that tour includes.

Is hotel pickup included, and where does it run?

It depends on the tour, not a blanket policy: included as standard on some trips, a selectable option on others, and available on request for an extra fee on the rest. Where pickup is included it covers Hurghada and Makadi hotels, with a small surcharge for some zones on some trips. Each tour’s page shows the exact pickup terms.

What time should I be ready for pickup?

It depends on which tour and time slot you book, there’s no single pickup time across the site. Morning trips typically pick up between 08:00 and 10:00, and several tours also run half-day or afternoon slots. Each tour’s page lists its available time slots; your exact pickup time is confirmed after booking, based on your hotel and the slot you chose.

What’s included on my trip?

It depends on the tour, shown in full on each tour’s page. Most trips include hotel pickup, snorkeling equipment, an open buffet lunch and unlimited soft/hot drinks. Diving trips add PADI-certified instruction; the VIP and sunset trips add a gourmet meal and VIP beach access instead of a buffet.

Is it good for families and non-swimmers?

Yes for most trips. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and some trips, like the flexible shuttle and the sunset tours, don’t require swimming or snorkeling at all. Snorkeling and diving trips do involve time in the water, though life jackets and equipment are provided and no experience is required for the introductory dive.

What should I bring for the day?

Swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and cash for personal extras. Snorkeling equipment is provided but you’re welcome to bring your own.

Are food and drinks available on the island?

Most trips include an open buffet lunch with unlimited soft and hot drinks. Alcoholic drinks aren’t included on any trip; extra food and drinks can usually be purchased on the island.

Is there shade, and is the island wheelchair-friendly?

Boats have a sun deck and shaded seating, and the island has shaded areas. The island and boats are not currently wheelchair accessible.
